AUCTION RULES

 

Manly Warringah League Club Stamp Club Auction

Vendors Conditions

1.      The Auction will be held at the Manly Warringah Rugby Leagues Club Car Park Hall starting at 11.00am and 3 pm on Saturday 10th January  2015.

2.     All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars.

3.     All vendors are invited to list their lots,  with a  detailed description and image to the MWRLCSC as soon as possible for inclusion in the website.
     The lots must be at the venue by 9.30am on the Saturday morning of the Auction.

4.      Scans or pictures of selected lots should be send by email to rodsell@rodsell.com or submitted on a CD-Rom.

5.     Bulk lots like boxes or groups of albums etc. are not accepted.

6.     The number of lots submitted is restricted to 50 per vendor for each auction, however the auction committee reserve the right to restrict the lots per
      vendor if it becomes necessary for organizational reason.

7.     All lots should have a minimum reserve price of $5.00

8.     Vendors will be charged with a commission of 10 % on sold lots. 

9.   All lots must be delivered to the venue by 9.30am on Saturday 10th January 2015 for the 11.00 am auction.

10.   The vendors must collect their unsold lots after the auction.

11.   Vendors will be paid for their sold lots after the auction..

Bidding Conditions

The placing of a bid shall constitute acceptance of all the following conditions

1.    Bidders shall notify the auction administrators of the lots they wish to bid on. 
       To save time, only those lots with expressions of interest will be offered for auction

2.    The reserve price will be  the starting bid.

3.     All items offered “as is” and cannot be returned for any reason.

4.   Viewing of lots is by personal inspection at the venue and from scans of selected lots on the website.

5.     Bidding in A$ in the following steps $1 up to $10;  $2 from $10-$50;  $5 from $50-$100; $10 from $100

6.     Bids will be made in person from the floor. Any appointed person or agent bidding for you, will be considered as a bid by them.

7.     All lots are sold to the highest bidder at one advance over the second highest bid.
        The Auctioneer has absolute discretion to settle any dispute.

8.     The Auctioneer reserves the right to refuse any bid. 

9.     Lots are purchased is at the risk of the Buyer at the fall of the hammer.

10.   Buyers must pay by cash only and collect their purchases from the runners distributing the winning lots.

Bidders who plan on bidding on a lot of items can pay at the close of the auction for the lots they won.
They will need to give us a list of the lots they plan on bidding on, and we will list the hammer price.

11.    No buyers premium will be charged

12.      The Governing Law shall be The Laws of the State of New South Wales.
